The Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) provides the framework for
families, professionals and policy makers who work with children from birth through
first grade. I learned by reading; Wisconsin Models Early Learning Standards how
these principles are the foundations which a common language and responsibility
for the well-being of children from birth to first grade. WMELS is a set of guiding
principles that specify beliefs and values about young children. The primary

a child will need to get over the behavior and grow. By using activity plans based on
the WMELS, they will support learning and development. I learned from the
Wisconsin Model Early learning Standards how to practice documenting a childs
behavior and progress with objective observations techniques. Through ongoing
assessments, planning and curriculum goals and implementation, we support
individual and goal group goals guided by supportive interactions and relationships.
