To
whom
it
may
concern,
I
am
writing
to
formally
express
my
interest
in
your
Nurse
Residency
Program
for
2016.
In
pursuit
of
my
passion
to
provide
caring,
personalized,
quality
patient
care,
I
believe
that
I
attain
the
values
and
skills
applicable
for
your
facilitys
consideration.
My
recent
experience
includes
over
900
clinical
hours,
where
I
have
strived
to
develop
a
foundation
for
providing
extraordinary
patient
care
through
a
supportive,
compassionate,
and
education-focused
environment.
Prior
to
my
application
for
this
position,
I
have
enhanced
my
distinction
by
striving
to
persistently
develop
my
clinical
knowledge
and
skills
at
an
optimal
level.
My
undergraduate
pursuits
include
participation
in
the
University
of
Arizona
Honors
College,
where
I
received
several
Deans
List
recognitions.
I
further
serve
as
BSN
Student
Representative
on
the
Research
and
Clinical
Scholarship
Committee
at
the
University
of
Arizona,
and
am
an
active
member
of
the
Beta
Mu
chapter
of
Sigma
Theta
Tau
International
(STTI).
In
efforts
to
maintain
extracurricular
excellence,
I
hold
a
primary
position
as
Volunteer/Involvement
Coordinator
for
the
Pima
County
Pathfinders
4H
Club,
Southern
Arizona
Quarter
Horse
Association,
and
Arizona
Quarter
Horse
Association.
Furthermore,
I
am
now
completing
my
undergraduate
studies
in
just
over
three
total
years.
Each
of
these
factors
has
assisted
in
developing
my
noteworthy
diligence,
persistence,
and
time
management
skills.
In
addition
to
my
prior
clinical
experience
and
qualifications,
I
firmly
believe
in
the
utilization
of
evidence-based
practice
techniques,
as
it
is
consistent
with
the
values
of
your
facility.
My
recent
pursuits
include
preparing
a
best
practice
recommendation
on
interventions
to
improve
nurses
health
and
wellbeing,
subsequently
improving
patient
outcomes.
Further
personal
endeavors
include
attaining,
and
presenting,
clinical
knowledge
at
the
Western
institute
of
Nursing
(WIN)
conference
this
past
April
2015.
My
efforts
aim
to
not
only
utilize
the
safest
and
highest
quality
practice
throughout
my
RN
career,
but
to
challenge
current
practice
as
a
means
for
providing
the
most
optimal
patient
care
feasible.
I
thereby
believe
your
facility
and
myself
maintain
consistent
values
regarding
the
utilization
of
research
to
improve
practice,
further
exemplifying
my
compatibility
for
the
Nurse
Residency
Program
that
is
offered.
In
cumulating
my
passion,
values,
and
clinical
expertise,
I
believe
that
your
facility
and
myself
are
of
a
strong
mutual
candidacy.
I
am
committed
to
pursuing
all
opportunities
to
advance
nursing
care
and
improve
patient
outcomes
throughout
my
career.
I
thereby
welcome
the
opportunity
to
discuss
with
you
personally
how
my
knowledge
and
skills
can
best
serve
this
position.
Sincerely,
Kaitlyn
