University teams will compete in a series of challenges designed to test their grasp of
crucial skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication. These challenges will
be set by Swansea University partners from Times Top 100 employers such as IBM and
PwC and judged by panels made up of both academic and professional experts. At the
end of this two day event, the top team will take home a grand prize of 1,000, with a
prize of 500 for the runners-up.
There will be a preliminary competition to determine the team for the Business in
the Bay competition.

Preliminary competition: Wednesday 4 November at 12pm - 2pm (School of

Management SoM 239). Enter with your idea for a pop up shop located in the new
Bay Campus to become part of the Swansea University Business in the Bay team! Pitch
your idea to a panel of judges and earn 5 for taking part. If you gain a place in the
team you will win 50! The competition is a great chance to develop your
entrepreneurial skills and enhance your CV!

FLUX 2016 team. FLUX is the UKs largest inter-university challenge and takes place on

Students will be presented with a challenge at 10am sharp and will need to create a
short picture presentation. 6 places available. Dont miss out!

their ideas will work. Those who register for this event will need to present a 60
second pitch in front of a panel of judges on the day.

using computer vision and advanced data visualisation which will record your put and
