TELE CONFERENCE

A conference is generally understood as a meeting of

several people to discuss a particular topic.

A tele conference is the live exchange of information

among several persons and machines remote from one
another but linked by tele communication system.

Audio tele conference, audio graphic tele conference,

computer tele conference and video conferences are the
major types of tele conferences.

AUDIO CONFERENCE
Audio refers to sound. A conference is a meeting.
It refers to meeting held by people in different places
using devices that allow sounds to be send and
received.
These meetings may only involve two parties, but in
many cases there are numerous parties involved.
Audio conferencing allows multiple parties to connect
using devices such as phones or computers.

There are numerous methods and technologies

that support audio conference.
Many telephone companies offer the capability of
three way calling. It helps to improve the audio
conferencing facilities.
The party instigating the audio conference is
known as the calling party and those who joining
the call are known as the participants.
Audio conferencing can also be conducted using
telephone, computer and internet.

It provides transmission of images and text between
two locations.
Multipoint video conferencing allows three or more
participants to sit in a virtual conference room and
communicate.
