Greeting
The teacher will explain for the students that they will take new lesson.
The teacher will play (hung man) with the students to let them discover the name of
the lesson.
- First the teacher will give the students the instruction of the game. (She will draw
the hung man on the board and she will but some blank and then she will ask the
students to give some later and if its correct she will write it on the board if not
she will cut the hung man).
This activity help the students to discover the name of the lesson and playing on
the same time, it refresh and engage the students mind before they start the
lesson.
EXPLORE: Lesson Description Materials Needed / Probing or Clarifying Questions:
The teacher will give each group different kind of animals, plant and ask each group
to tell what each animal eat.
After that the teacher will let the students to do a chain of the animal and plants
they Have on the table, let the students on the group to put the animal the eat plant
first then the animal eat another animal.
This activity will help the students to identify part of food chain
Materials Needed:

Different kind of plastic animal and plant.


EXPLAIN: Concepts Explained and Vocabulary Defined:
The teacher will explain the meaning of (food chain) by using the PowerPoint.
The teacher will explain that the (food chain) shows how energy passes from one
living thing to another; the energy in a food chain comes mostly from the sun. Plants
use the suns energy to make food. Some animals get energy by eating the plants
other animals eat those animals.
Teacher will ask the students to give her some example of food chain.
This PowerPoint to explain for the students and let them understand how food chain
works.

ELABORATE: Applications and Extensions:
The teacher will give the students an activity to do it (create food chain) by using
wool.
The teacher will give the instruction of the activity first by showing them an example
1- I will give each student wool and some picture of food chain.
2- I want you to order the food chain first then stick the picture on this wool.
EVALUATE:
The teacher will give the students a worksheet which they need to order the food
chain correctly. Because it let the teacher to make sure that all students understand
the lesson.
