13 Colonies Independent Research Project

Now that you have researched answers to a few of our questions about life in the
13 colonies, choose the question that you found the best answers to. You will use
this question and information to create a project that represents what you learned.
Consider the following options for the type of project you will create with your
partner/group:

Create a Powerpoint presentation

Write a short story
Create a comic
Draw a series of images with captions

If you would like to do a different type of project, please talk to Mrs. Lewis before
starting.
Whichever form of project you choose, your representation of what you have
learned must include the following:
1. The questions you were researching
2. The answers/information you learned
3. How this information relates to the United States today
You will have class time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to complete this
project. The final project will be due at the start of class on Thursday, so make sure
you use your class time wisely!
