Midterm Reflection
I think that my progress so far has earned me an above average because I have followed
all of the directions and due dates so far. I havent gone back to edit anything yet because I
havent seen a reason to need. I try to do the best the first time around.
I have decided to research the effects of family on a childs upbringing. I have done my
discovery and written my proposal. After reading the comments from peer editing I changed
some of my questions and started my annotated bibliography. So far my research has been great.
I have not come into any road blocks and I am finding what I am looking for.
My in class participation deserves an average grade. I decided that my grade should be
average because I do not usually talk during the class discussions. I do, however participate
when we are in our houses and doing when we do peer editing. I have attended class regularly
and I am always prepared.
The discussion topics one and two made me understand what types of writing we would
be doing in class and Into the Wild was very insightful. Into the Wild made me think about
happiness, success, and families which is why I chose to research children and their families.
I think my midterm reflection deserves an average because I followed the directions,
edited my work, and turned it in on time.
