Given a two minute time span and a football, the students will make as many over the shoulder passes and catches to one
another without dropping the ball and team will start and finish at the same time. With 100% accuracy.
Given these skills, students will learn to work together as a team and encourage one another positively in order to help the
team succeed. With 100% accuracy.
Given these skills, students will learn the positive effective communication skills in working together as a team and
everyday society. With 100% accuracy.
Given these cognitive skills and various situations throughout the semester. Students will learn the true concept of good
sportsmanship and will portray a healthy attitude with teammates when winning and losing. With 100% accuracy.
STANDARDS ADDRESSED:
TN Physical Education-Common Core Standards
The Students will demonstrate basic manipulative skills in a variety of physical activities ( e.g., throwing,
catching, kicking)
The students will demonstrate the ability to apply advance motor skills and movement patterns relative to
advanced eye-hand/foot coordination and high levels of strategy.
The students will demonstrate an understanding of the movement concept, principles, strategies, and tactics as
they apply to the learning and performance of physical activities

Closure: In closing well all meet in the center of the field for any questions the students may want to ask and
just have an open discussion about the lesson. Then I will ask them a few questions about the lesson as well to
test their knowledge and see what they have learn and make sure they understand what was going on. We will
all then come together and make up a team chant to say to show we are all one family and just have a little fun
together.
ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE:
The students worked together to achieve their goals.
The students showed encouragement to one another throughout all the drills with verbal acknowledgements, clapping for
one another, and chanting positive comments
The students will improve over time with all the basic skill and will reap benefits of exercise
MODIFICATIONS:
I am aware that modifications will be made for students who did not master the objectives and for those ready
for enrichment. However, modifications are not covered in this course and are not part of this particular lesson.
