General Comments: You created a positive environment for learning and


interactive in a supportive and encouraging manner with the students.
You used your questions effectively to promote student thinking and to
get them to share ideas in their own words. It would have enhanced the
worksheet assessment to have them share their word pair choices and
explain why they thought the word pair was homophones. You kept them
engaged and on task through the use of your laptop and the jeopardy
game. You explained directions clearly! As you noted your examples could
have been more challenging. Too bad you didnt have more students! The
size of the group probably inhibited the responses of the students a bit!
Your written objective in your lesson plan could have been more clearly
stated. Also, make sure your assessment reflects criteria to be used for
observing student performance!
