Variables of Interest
After the focus group, our variables of interest are to determine if students
are willing to stray outside their normal path to purchase lunch on campus;
which locations they frequent the most; and the average amount they are
willing to spend on lunch. Aside from these variables, we will also identify
their gender, age, and major(s). We are searching to uncover the normative
behaviors of UTD students in the Fall 2015 semester, and which contributing
factors come into play when making on-campus food purchasing decisions,
specifically lunch.
