Laboratory Skills

Capable of performing TLC analysis, titrations, dilutions, solution work ups, distillations, and refluxing
reactions

Able to take an appropriate representative sub-sample from an original sample and manipulate it through
various grinding techniques to produce a homogenous sub-sample for testing.

Skilled in cleaning glassware due to the necessity of a low contamination environment for analysis
purposes.

Proficient at problem solving in terms of adding acids to reactive samples without allowing overflow in
the digestion vessel of choice.

Accomplished in keeping a clean and organized work space, which assisted in keeping the environment
free to low of contamination.

Capable of disposing of samples and waste appropriately including but not limited to neutralizing strong
