Bringing your own device allows for greater connections with learning, improved home:school
partnerships and increased familiarity with the device. This is not compulsory it is an invitation to bring
a device.

What device are we recommending?


iPad or iPad mini minimum screen size 7.9 inches. 3G connectivity not required (enables us to monitor
access and internet use). Headphones and wireless keyboards optional. Sturdy protective casing
recommended (Little Hand Band).
Adequate battery life
Supports creativity
Supports collaboration
Easy for students to independently transport and use
Portability
Both Harvey Norman and Noel Leeming are preparing purchasing options for us. These will be advised through
the school newsletter and fliers sent home with all students in Years 3 7.
We are preparing a bundle of required apps that can be purchased through the school at a reduced rate, and will
also notify parents of recommended apps and suggested apps.
