Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods was born on December 30, 1975 in Cypress California.
He was introduced to golf before the age of two by his father Earl.
Began playing golf tournaments at the age of thirteen.
Attended Western High School Anaheim California where he would go on to win
three U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. (2002 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship)
Attended Stanford University for two years before leaving to join the PGA Tour.

Married Elin Nordegren (2004)

Two children: Sam and Charlie Woods

Became a professional golfer in 1996

Won his first major in 1997 at the Masters

Continued success throughout the 2000s

Inducted into the California Hall of Fame with Steve

Creative Process

Tiger works extremely hard when practicing.

He normally hits hundreds of golf balls every day and plays


multiple rounds of golf

He was inspired as a young boy by Arnold Palmer and Gary


Player.

I know Tiger believed in the idea of the Package. It went


along with the sense of destiny his father had passed to himthat he was put on this earth to do something extraordinary
with his special qualities, to "let the legend grow" But those
qualities, foremost among them an extraordinary ability to
focus and stay calm under stress, also included selfishness,
obsessiveness, stubbornness, coldness, ruthlessness, pettiness,
and cheapness." (Haney, 132)

On Thanksgiving morning police were called to the


woods residence after Tigers car was reportedly
crashed.

cheated on his wife.

Tiger confessed to having an affair with over 120


women.

Because of this Tiger lost contracts with Nike and


Gatorade which were worth ten to fifteen million
dollars

Everything ended with a divorce in 2010

Although Tiger has had many faults he is know as one of the best players in golf.

He will always be remembered by the way he made himself know on the course.

The accomplishments can not be overshadowed by his personal issues.

When people look back on golf, Tiger will never be forgotten.
