Summarize the relevant research and describe how it supports the plan's
curricular and professional development goals.
As technology is changing too fast recently, to catch up with this development a
well designed e-plan is crucial. Technology planning is done to help to
understand what is appropriate for the teachers, staff, students and
school/organization by means of the effective tool selection and usage, saving
time and money and accomplishing the organization's missions.
Summarize the plans major curricular and professional development
outcomes that are supported by research.
The main goal of this planning is to incorporate technology by means of
integrating curriculum into subject areas. Students and educators must be
guaranteed to have fair opportunities in the use of technology as an constitutional
part of education.
Describe and cite the relevant research that supports the plans outcomes.
Technology Plans and the E-Rate Program: A Primer for Schools and Libraries.
(n.d.). Retrieved November 22, 2015, from http://eratecentral.com/applicationTips/techPlan/
Describe the connection between the research and the plans goals.
It must be every educational organization's vision for students, parents, and

educators to be active in the use of technology in communication and information

gathering to raise and spread out the traditional role of education. Technology
can enable the users to have better communication, intensify thinking skills, have
more efficiency and effectiveness in understanding and applying the instruction,
and evolve life skills crucial to success. That's why not only designing an e-plan
is enough, it also must be open for development and positive changes.
Describe information gathered from site visits, including best practices.
After visiting sites it is clear that an e-plan is a school's must. The examples
websites show the importance of having a good technology plan appropriate for
the school, staff, educators, students and also the parents' needs and
requirements. The plan must be designed to accomplish these missions.

students to student, student to teacher and teacher to teacher communication.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for providing
professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment
data and the Curriculum Component of the plan.
How does the school evaluate teachers and administrators personal
technology proficiency skills?
By the help of the Director of Technology and Facility and Grounds Maintenance

and the IT team as they are assigned to support and help the teachers in the use
of technological tools in their classrooms a basic frame of the teachers' personal

website of the school for everybody's reach. Also the resources on the school
websites for students/parents allow the teacher to see the students progress.
The website of the school upgraded regularly to make sure that the parents and
the students get the news on time.
What are the most used electronic learning resources used for the learning
process of the students?
Both sides of the teaching-learning process prefer the internet based applications
that make follow up easier. Programs such as reading eggs, brainPOP. ALEKS
allow the teacher to see the student's progress. Also the students himself and the

parents can follow up these curriculum base programs as they can also be used
as practicing tools in classrooms and at home as well.
Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and
telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical
support, and asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and
