Description of Audience: The class is comprised of 21 students, 11 boys and 10 girls. Within this class there are four identified students with IEPs. This class incorporates interactive media, hands on application and strong classroom management skills. Learning Objectives: SWBAT: -Review the proper login in procedures to Microsoft 365 online student accounts. -Navigate the computers to the selected online website review game https://kahoot.it/#/ -Discussion/Modeling of each question prior to advancing to the next question. -Evaluate the website/activity at the end of the review game. Learning Standards: Technology: 8.1.2.A.4 Demonstrate developmentally appropriate navigation skills in virtual environments (i.e. games, museums). ISTE Standards 6. Technology operations and concepts a. Understand and use technology systems c. Troubleshoot systems and applications Lesson Format: Teacher will activate prior knowledge of their experiences in login in to Microsoft 365 accounts. Students will be directed that within this activity they will review their knowledge. If students need additional review of the information, they can utilize this review game during their lunch period. Modeling: As a whole group, the class will navigate to the review game within the website Kahoot. Teacher will model the steps to navigate to the Carteret Media Center/Kahoot on the smart board. Students will be instructed to type in the game pin. At the end, students will have an opportunity to rate the experience on their computer and the results will be displayed on the smartboard. At this time, students will be able to navigate to their Microsoft 365 account. Students will fill out the information on the provided sheets to assist them with the login process. The expectation is that students will be able to enter in the correct login information/password. After they have successfully logged in, students will be able to review their shared folders and discuss the next project within the application SWAY. Evaluation Completion/Results of the Kahoot Quiz and demonstration of the proper login process into the Microsoft 365 office account.
