OBJECTIVE
To gain experience in all aspects of the medical field, so that I can further my on the
job training and knowledge. To then use that knowledge to increase my chances in
becoming a registered physicians assistant.

My responsibilities at Elliot were to manage the front desk, filed paperwork, check patients in
and out, call to remind patients of appointments, schedule appointments, relay messages to
the physical therapists, build referrals for patients orders, dealt with different insurances and
contacted insurance companies, worked with workers compensation claims, updated patient
information, and worked closely with the referral team, as well as, occupational health.

My responsibilities at MedFast were to monitor the front desk, file paper work, in-put
patient records into the system, answer phone calls, collect insurances/claims, collect
payments, as well as assist the MAs when needed.

My responsibilities as a clinical transporter were to take patients to and from test


sites around the hospital, assist in patient care when needed, run deliveries to and

SKILLS
Overall, I have over four and a half years of experience in the medical field. Ranging
from volunteering for a year and a half at Holmes Regional Medical Center in
Melbourne Florida, doing out patient and discharge patient transport. During my time
at the hospital, I became certified in basic dysrhythmia and CPR which both have
been kept up to date, and Ive accumulated over twenty-four hours of emergency
medical training. I have worked with many medical office programs, such as Star, EClinicals, and Cerner. As far as my computer skills, I have taken typing classes as well
as classes that worked with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
