WEEKLY LESSON PLAN

Name: Brooke Lambert

Time: 8:30-9:30

Time: 8:30-9:30

Week: 11/30-12/4
Subject: Math

Subject: Math

Lesson: FLEX: We reviewed

the first few chapters today
because it was the first day
back from a week off. We did
some practice with looking
for patterns in the
multiplication table, and we
practiced different strategies
solving division and
multiplication problems using
our whiteboards.
Lesson: Today students took
the Check My Progress
assessment in their math
books. It reviewed the first
five lessons that involved
multiplication and division
strategies of multiplying and
dividing numbers by 2 and 5.
The assessment always tested
the students on multiplication
strategies.

Master Teacher: Melissa Mann

Common Core Standard:
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.OA.A.3

Use multiplication and division

within 100 to solve word
problems in situations involving
equal groups, arrays, and
measurement quantities, e.g., by
using drawings and equations
with a symbol for the unknown
number to represent the
problem.1

Lesson: Today we understood

how to find different parents.
We practiced the four steps to
looking at a work problem:
understand, plan, solve, and
check. We practiced making
tables and discovering
patterns, as well as finishing
patterns.

Common Core Standard:

Lesson: Today we looked at

multiplying numbers by 10.
We practiced several different
strategies such as equal
groups, and discovering
patterns in 10s products.
Students did some whiteboard
work as well as problems in
their math books.

Common Core Standard:

Lesson: Today students

looked at problems that
involved multiples of 10.
They learned several different
strategies: determining the
basic fact and adding zero,
using place value, and
drawing equal groups.
