Hospitality and Tourism Management college student seeking to obtain a part-time position to gain work experience in the
industry and the opportunity to improve my skills.

Experience
Cocktail Server for Best Beverage Company (Music Box location)

November 2015- Present

As a cocktail server, it is my responsibility to take both food and cocktail orders, to serve food and cocktails, to maintain
a clean service station, and to continuously check on customers needs to ensure satisfaction.

Working as a cocktail server at a concert venue, I have learned to work in a very fast-paced, diverse environment while
working with a team and being able to react in unexpected situations.

Hostess at Bootlegger

April 2015- Present

As a hostess at Bootlegger, it is my responsibility to provide excellent customer service, by greeting every customer that
walks into the restaurant. My responsibilities also include: determining seating sections before every shift, seating
guests, notifying servers of customers I have seated, and working with other team members on the floor to maintain the
flow of the restaurant.

Working as a hostess has given me first hand experience working in the industry, and has drastically improved my ability
to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, work with a team, and react quickly and properly in unexpected
situations.

Retail Sales Associate at Macys

August 2014- April 2015

As a retail sales associate for Macys, it was my responsibility to provide excellent customer service, which includes:
helping customers, having knowledge of products, multi-tasking, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

Working as a retail associate has taught me to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment, as well as how to multi-task
on the sales floor, simultaneously providing customer service and maintaining the sales floor.

I am a junior at San Diego State University, where I major in Psychology with plans to attend Graduate School after
obtaining my bachelors degree.

In high school, I maintained a 4.0 GPA for all four years. I participated in Varsity cheer, tennis, track and field, and
swimming. Being a member of these teams taught me the value of hard work, dedication, working with others, and the
importance of teamwork. I was the Vice President of the Community Service club on campus my junior year, which taught
me how to organize events and communicate with different organizations we wished to worked with. I graduated with highest
honors and as a member of the California Scholarship Federation.
