O A bachelors degree is required

- most jobs over minimum wage


- makes sure you are competent and
not underqualified (Hravowski)
- College graduates have more
experience in specific areas (Murray)

College increases overall


wellbeing
O Life on campus makes you feel happy

- interaction with friends is fun


O No long car or train rides
- living on campus includes short walks to
class
O More success and satisfaction in future
O Easier to find the perfect job, because of
more options
O Higher political participation
- More confident in decision making

College includes general


education
O Classes required for major
- prepare you for specific job
O General classes
- Math- needed in any counting task
- English- helps writing e-mails and

letters
- Ethics- helps making moral decisions

Disadvantages
O Expensive tuitions
- Students loans are risky
O Cheaper community colleges
- Transfer after 2 years

-> save money (Addison)

Conclusion
OIMPORTANT to go to

college
OCommunity college for
the first two years and
then liberal art college
to save money!
