Description

Al Madam Advanced Kindergarten is located in

Sharjah in Al Madam region. Aisha Almarzooqi
is the principle of the kindergarten. There are 8
KG classes. The number of students is 107
students. The school starts at 8:00 A.M. and they
finish at 1:30 P.M.

Playground

Description
The students have 6 games they can play in
playground. The students play in the playground
after the meal. Also, the have their assembly in
the same place. The students stand in front of the
colored stapes that has the letter (T) shape.

Classroom

Description
The classroom has a circle area and different
areas. The teacher has technology in the class to
help in supporting her lessons. The classroom
climate is safe and comfortable for the students.
There are five areas in the classroom. The
students have a closet to put their back bags and
a closet to save their work.

Circle time

Description
The circle area is where the teacher explain
her/his lesson, take the attendance, count the
students, and choosing the helping hand. The
teacher has all the materials she may need. In
this picture, the students had a lesson about my
body parts.

Role play area

Description
This is the role play area, the students play in
this area. The students use the puppets in the
area to make plays. In this picture, the students
had( Al Haji theme). The students tend to enter
this area a lot. The teacher change the theme
of the area depending on the unit the students
are having.

Cubes area

Discerption
The students develop their two types of physical
skills which are fine and gross motor skills. The
students has different kinds of cubes they have
wooden and plastic cubes.

Art area

Description
The students has white papers where they can
draw what ever they went and a black and white
pictures and the students can colour them. The
students has wooden colours. In this pictures, the
students was having family unit and the students
had papers where the draw the family members.

Reading area

Description
The students have different books in different
sizes. the students have Quran board, the
students has two chairs to sit and read. The
teacher changes the books depending on the unit
the students are studying about.

Discovering area

Description
The students have different, safe, and plastic
materials in discovering area. The teacher adds
materials that support the lesson she/ he is
teaching. For example, one time the teacher
explained a lesson about tasting sense and she
had a plate of different food to test in that area.

Cognitive games area

Description
The students have different types of cognitive
games that the students can play with in the
areas time. For example, the students can play
Lego game in the table. Only 3 students can
enter the area.

Trips
Sharjah Museums Department

Description
The students went on a trip to Sharjah Museums
Department. The students were a part with a
show. The museums did a bubble show with the
students. The students were able create bubble
by themselves.

Workshop
Workshop

Description
The students had a workshop after English class.
The workshop was organized by the Arabic and
English teacher. The English teacher, asked the
students to say ( my name is.. I
am) and she let the students create their
name by clay. The Arabic teacher, made the
students create the food pyramid.
