Get into yoga pants and shoes

Who has been in gymnastics before? Review of statics


Listen and dont do anything if they are not ready to do so.

Okay well we need to warm up our bodies first before we do


any sort of gymnastics!

Warm up game and stretches.
Foam tag: front support, star stand, stork stand,
airplane.

Watch students as they are playing the game to make sure they
are not cheating, playing safely, and are following the rules. Get
the mats out while they are playing.
Group things:
1. Frog stands
2. Monkey stands on mats
3. Wall walks
4. Lunges for handstands (tick tocks)
5. Beginning of a cartwheel
Watch students so they are following the rules (doing the skills
properly), not doing anything dangerous, and they are having
fun!
Cool down:
Put all the mats away.
