Thislessonendsthe5dayunitonsolarenergywithlettingthestudentstakeallthattheyhavelearnedandapplyit
totheirownopinionaboutwhethertheconceptofsolarmosaicsareagoodideatohelpensureenergyforsociety.
Thestudentswillbeevaluatingthestrengthsandweaknessesofsolarmosaicsandoncetheyhavereachedan
opiniontheywillwriteapersuasivelettertoanArizonaofficialonwhethersolarmosaicsshouldbeusedorifthere
isabetteroption.
OBJECTIVES
The students will write an opinionative letter about the use of solar mosaics by using the previously learned
