Question
My Question is The Physics of baseball bats, what is
better, wood, composite or aluminum?

Abstract
Some facts about the bats are that
they all have different powers. A
wooden bat is a good baseball bat
for power, a composite bat is a good
baseball bat for distance and an
aluminum bat is a good baseball bat
for speed. This is why I am doing
this experiment. I am doing this
experiment because I really like
baseball and I want to see which bat
will be good to use in baseball
games. Which bat do you think will
win?

Hypothesis
My Hypothesis is that either the composite or the wooden
bat will hit the farthest distance. I think that either the
composite or the wooden bat will hit the farthest distance
because I have use all three of the bats in my question
and I think that both composite and wooden are both
really good bats.

Materials
Baseball bats
Baseballs
Baseball Tee
Rolling tape measure
Stakes or colored flags to mark where the baseballs land
Pen and Pencil
Paper or data table
Three helpers

Procedures
1. Reserve a field
2. Create data tables
3. To hit thirty baseballs for each bat
4. Get helpers
5. Get materials
6. Set up materials
7. Make sure field is level
8. Hit baseballs consistently

Procedures
Independent Variable: The types of bats.
Dependent Variables: My Materials(accept for the bats).
Control: My Amount of baseballs that I have to hit with
each bat.

Conclusion
The conclusion ended up like my hypothesis!!!! I was
right because my hypothesis was that either the
composite or wooden bat will hit the farthest distance
because they were both really good bats and that is what
happened!!!! The composite bat hit the furthest distance
out of all of the bats!!!! The wooden bat came in second
and the aluminum bat which is what I sort of suspected
from the aluminum because it isnt the best bat. Now you
know which baseball bat is the best. Now I know which
bat to use in my baseball games because of my science
experiment.
