Which fertilizer will make sunflower seeds

grow faster Miracle Grow or Vigoro Fertilizer?

abstract
If I plant sun flowers in three different types
of soils (miracle-Gro, Vigoro , or normal
potting soil), then Miracle-Gro will make the
plants grow faster because it is specially
formulated to help you be a more successful
gardener and grow Big Beautiful Plants. The
motivation for my project is to see what type
of soils will make plants grow faster. There
are many different types of fertilized soils. I
am trying to see which of the soils is best for
growing plants fastest.

Hypothesis
If I plant sun flowers in three different
types of soils (miracle-gro, Vigoro , or
normal potting soil), then Miracle-Gro
will make the plants grow faster
because it is specially formulated to
help you be a more successful
gardener and grow Big Beautiful
Plants.

Materials
4 packets of sun flower seeds (the
flowers change color)
30 biodegradable plant pots
236.588 ml of water for every seed
planted (8oz)
Miracle-gro
Vigoro soil
Potting soil
(Filling the pots to the top)

Procedures
I will put the three different types of soil into ten pots each with
two seed in the soil.
I will water the plants once per day for 25 days. 236.588 ml of
water for every seed planted (8oz) (may be changed)

The flowers will be in complete sun light from dusk till dawn.
I will take pictures of the plants on the final day of the projent,
and copy all information I find into my science fair note book.
I will measure the height of the flowers once they begin to grow.
I will take pictures, but will collect the measurement to create a
graph.
I will draw conclusions by the size in centimeters it has grown.

Variables
Independent variables- The types of
soil.
Dependent variables The growth
rate of sunflowers.
Control variable- the plain potting
soil.

conclusion
In conclusion my hypothesis was
incorrect and the vigoro soil made
the sunflower seeds grow taller in a
faster amount of time.
