Ministry Philosophy/Passion

I am passionate about promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and
inspiring individuals toward a fuller life by loving, encouraging, and
teaching them in the ways of God's Word, and being a witness to
God's love through my everyday life. I also have a passion for
helping individuals understand that they have been uniquely wired
and gifted by God to serve him in this world, not only bearing
witness to him through their personal lives but through their
vocation. I believe this understanding comes best through
community by the affirmation of fellow believers who intimately
know and understand the individual by intentionally living life
together for the building up of the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11-16;
Heb. 10:24-25)

Born and raised on a ranch in rural

Ewing, NE
I grew up out in the country where
we attended a small Presbyterian
Church. While this time was
formative for me, it wasnt until I
was 13 that I came to know the
Lord during a local Fellowship of
Christian Athletes assembly. It was
at this event that I surrendered my
life to Christ, realizing there was
nothing I could do to earn Gods
favor, but rather it was by his
grace, the free gift of God, through
faith that I am saved.
I have been called to a ministry of
higher education administration.
Upon graduation I will be seeking a
job within student development or
residence life within a Christian
college or university.
My wife Amanda and I have been
married since March 7, 2013. She
currently is about half way through
cosmetology school at Paul
Mitchell The School in Carrollton,
TX.
Some of my hobbies include
reading, traveling, helping others
discern their calling, and sports
Personality Profiles: Meyers Briggs
(ENFP); DISC: (I D/S)
Giftedness MAP: I love to pursue
excellence as I encourage peoples
development and walk with them
as they grow.
