Activity Description:
Students will sing the following lyrics:
I can count to ten and you can count to ten
And if we count to ten one time, we can do it again!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
Counting with my friend!
I can count in Espanol. Thats Spanish.
Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, dies
I can count to ten; and you can count to ten.
If we count to ten one time, we can do it again.
This time when we count, this is what well do.
We will show that we can count backwards, too!
10,9,8-7,6,5-4,3,2-1
Counting sure is fun!

My Learning/Questions: This was a really good learning process for
me. I realized that there are many ways to incorporate songs to
teaching certain subjects, however I did not like having to find a finger
play activity. It seemed liked finger play was very limited to the
younger age group and songs can be used for so much than that. I
modified this activity to exclude the other languages it originally had
and counting to 20 instead of 10 so I made it work.
