Dear Professor Batty,

Through the fall semester of UWRT 1101 I have learned quite a bit. Not only have I been taught several
techniques to better my writing, but Ive also gained a lot of experience and information on things that
point to why I write the way I do. I have been taught how to break down my writing and look at all the
factors affecting it. At the end of this semester, we are supposed to have an e-portfolio designed that
reflects back on our progress along with explanations as to why and how weve gained the information
that we have.
I plan to have a simple but effective e-portfolio. From all the examples Ive seen in class, people seem to
put a lot of information about their selves into their website. I would like to have a homepage that
explains who I am with some background information. Id also like to explain what class Im in and why
this e-portfolio reflects on this class. It will be organized by the type of writing in specific sections. The
first section will contain my low-stakes writings along with a brief reflection as to why these excerpts are
included. My next section will obviously contain my major projects. Within that there will be all drafts
along with the reflections of the projects. There will also be a reflection of my major projects. The last
section will be my final reflection on my experiences and growth over the semester.
This e-portfolio will be organized into sections. Within the sections there will be scans of my work. I have
my tabs prepared and some of my about me homepage. Some problems I need to solve within my eportfolio are choosing artifacts as well as choosing a theme. I also need to decide how to lay out my
overall page.
