peers for technology to be an effective tool in the classroom curriculum (Muir-Herzig,
2004)

According to research data, administrators technological leadership is a positive key

factor that influences teachers technological literacy.

Research data and findings approves that the roles of principals as technological leaders

are directly related to teachers technology literacy and technology usage in their class

settings.
The data also demonstrate that good implementation and integration of technology have
impact on teaching effectiveness.

DISCUSSIONS
Conclusions/Implications (for your profession):

This study implies that school have to prepare a technology plan according to their
missions and goals in order to support and encourage the usage of technology for school

personnel.
Principals have become technology instructional leaders in schools (Warschauer, 2010).
Teachers use technology to bring a wide range of resources to the classroom to motivate
learners, provide new teaching tools for instruction, and accommodate individual learning
styles (Gahala, 2009). On the other hand, I believe that most of teachers do not feel
comfortable to use technology in confidence due to limited of their technology skills . So,
motivating novice teachers about technology usage in their classrooms is one of the

crucial responsibilities of principals as technology leaders.

The role of the administrator is always to support high levels of technology integration in
classroom by working together with teachers and school districts collaboratively.

REFLECTIONS
Students Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your
school/work):

Today, despite becoming technology usage widespread in the schools, some factors
affect whether and how it is used. Those factors may be professional development for
acceptable use of education technology tools by teachers. Therefore, school's technology
plan that clearly identifies learning goals to be achieved through technology, satisfactory
ongoing professional development, availability of educational technology and immediate

technology support in school settings.

I personally think that not only developing and implementing a technology plan is critical,

but also supporting and encouraging teachers is crucial. School leaders should provide
unique and updated professional development programs in order to teachers feel
comfortable to use technology in their classroom. Even though they are received training
opportunities who are still struggling with new tools, technical support will be available in
work place for them as a part of technology plan.
