Introduction
Arabic language is popular, which considered as one of main official
languages in UNISCO, where it is an official language in about 25 countries in
the world. Some foreigners think that Arabic language is same everywhere,
but actually each Arabic country has more than four dialects. In this paper I
will write about Al-Ramsa institute which is Emirati Company, which had the
idea to teach Emirati dialect rather than the formal Arabic because they
believe that if foreigners want to communicate with Emiratis it is better to
use Emirati dialect.

Research
History
Al-Ramsa institute is an Emirati project that started at 2011 by Abdullah AlKaabi who is studying Master of Science in Management Innovation and
Change, and his colleague Hanan Al Fardan who has Master's degree in
educational policy. This institute supported by Tejar Dubai and Dubai
Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to their website their aim is
to serve our learners to speak the Emirati dialect and interact with Emirati
community in and outside UAE. We want Arabic language learners to have a
unique learning experience by learning Emirati dialect from its native
speakers and have better insights of Emirati culture (About us, 2014).
After six months of the project Abdullah and Hanan they found that the
numbers of the students were increasing, so they needed more teachers.

There were some local who volunteer to teach Emirati and five teachers from
Zaid University.
In 2012 they create a YouTube channel to make it easier for anyone who
wants to know about Emirate dialect, so people around the world can have an
idea about the UAE. Moreover, they begin to be global where they started
online learning at the same year, as they said there were lots of requests
from Sweden, Norway, America and Britain, also they got requests for people
who never visits Emirates (Hayat, 2014).
In 2014 they create the first Emirati dialect dictionary, which contains 1500
words. Furthermore, their future plan id to customize classes for children.
Why is it successful
Actually, I have chosen this program because it is the first institute that
teaches Emirati dialect in the world. In fact, this institute has created the first
dictionary for Emirati dialect which contains 1500 words used by the Emiratis
in their daily life (Alramsa-admin, 2014).
Moreover, they are trying to make our culture global
where in the classes they introduce Emirati culture
while they teaching Emirati dialect by special lunch
for leaners in Emirati restaurants with Emirati
teacher, and some time they visit Emirati families
where they interact with them, so they might learn some Emirati tradition or
even use the language that they gain (Al Ramsa Institute for Emirati dialect &
culture documentary film June 2014, 2014).

In addition, Al-Ramsa Institute trying to spread around the world, now they
have online courses where people can learn Emirati dialect from anywhere.
Furthermore, they teach the learner some traditions in
fun way, such as Yola Dance and sometime they make
some roleplay where they wear tradition cloth and try
to live the role, which is incredibly fun and interesting.

Al-Ramsa institute allows communication between people anywhere in a

variety ways, such as online classrooms or regular classrooms, which provide
interaction and communication between people with very different lifestyles
and from very different cultures that actually connected with the process of
cultural globalization. In addition, this institute allowed students to practice
Emiratis everyday activities like eating traditional food, wearing Emirati

cloths, dancing the Yola etc. This kind of activities paving students to interact
with Emirati culture.

Social globalization
According to Datko who define the social globalization as a pertains to
human interaction within cultural communities, encompassing topics like
family, religion, work and education (Datko). Al-Ramsa institute is a social
globalization where they introduce the Emirati dialect and culture for the
foreigners students, so when they visit the UAE it will be easy for them to
interact and communicate with locals, also they will avoid culture
misunderstands because they will be familiar with the culture. Furthermore,

there are many foreign in the UAE who works in government departments,
where they daily interacted with Emiratis. Al-Ramsa gives them the
opportunity to break the language barrier and build the communication
bridge.

Economic globalization
This Institute makes money from all over the world where there are students
from Europe, America and Asia. According to the table they profit 1500 to
2500 DHs in face to face classes and 1000 to 2000 DHs in online classes form
each student for one course. Actually, the number of the students is
increasing every year, so apparently they will need more teachers if they
want to caver all the classes. In fact this will benefit the country and will
develop the economy where they will provide jobs because they need more
teachers and staff to caver the classes, and this will result it will reduce the
unemployment rate.

Conclusion
In my opinion I believe this institute has bright future because every year
they trying to develop, as we can see every year the number of the students
is increasing. Actually, who could imagine that Emirati dialect would be
known for the whole world, but believe me after 2020 the UAE will be famous
country around the world. I strongly have faith that after 2020 Al-Ramsa will
make good profit because many people will visit our country and before they
come they have to learn at les few things about the UAE. It is really important
to learn about the country that you want to go especially if you want to start
a business, it is important to have a good relation.. In addition, All-Ramsa is
planning for the future is to open classes for children which is beneficial
because students in young age lean language better than when they older.
