DANCE EDUCATION LESSON PLAN
GRADE LEVEL & NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 3rd Grade, 36 Students
TIME: 25-30 mins
EQUIPMENT: boom box, rhythm sticks
OBJECTIVES:
Psychomotor
1. The student will have the opportunity to perform continuous movements as directed by the teacher and
music.
Cognitive
1. The student will learn a variety of steps and then put them together to form the entire dance.
Affective
1. The student will develop an appreciation for multicultural music and dance.
