A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF ASSORTED REFERENCE BOOKS
TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF HINIGARAN, SUBJECT TO ALL LEGAL AND
COMMISSION ON AUDIT (COA) RULES AND REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Hinigaran through City Resolution No. 96, Series of 2015, has requested
for donation of assorted reference books for the use of various public schools in the city;
WHEREAS, the City of Kabankalan has an inventory of surplus books which may be made
available to accommodate the request of the municipality;
WHEREAS, Rule 25, Section 186 of the Commission on Audit (COA) Circular No. 92-836
requires that a donation by a local government unit must be with the approval of the local
Sanggunian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE
SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF KABANKALAN BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS
VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, that:
Section 1. The donation of assorted reference books to the Municipality of Hinigaran is hereby
approved, subject to all legal and Commission on Audit (COA) rules and regulations.
Section 2. Let copy of this Resolution be furnished the City General Services Department and
other concerned offices.
Section
3.
This
Resolution
shall
take
effect
upon
its
approval.
