As you critic and analyze another persons work, you are able to
build on analyzing in general on your own. By learning the basics of
citation, credibility, and legitimacy, you are able to work sources into
your writing and analyze them correctly. You learn through composing
a process and critically thinking on how to correctly analyze your paper
and sources. However theyre difficulties in these processes. Knowing
the different variations in the MLA citation patterns and knowing what
exactly your teacher or professor wants can be tricky. Different source
locations require a slightly different way to be cited. You have to learn
all of them in order to correctly cite the sources or else you can be
penalized if you dont do them correctly. In learning the correct
patterns and processes can be linked back to the WPA outcomes.
Similar to how you go about a professor citing, you have to go through
a process of critically thinking what sources can or will be used. In
starting an introduction, one can start by getting all the sources first,
then going through them to see what will be used and what will not be.
In analyzing the different methods of citing different sources, you do
what is similar to doing what the WPA calls, knowledge of conventions.
You develop knowledge of the structures, patterns, and punctuations.

One would also learn different styles and formats due to the way some
teachers or professors want it to be in their own way.
