Our prison management system especially in

Punjab is very unmannered because all the
information of prisoners are stored in
registers (hand written), so now we will build
an application for police department so they
can manage their data efficiently and
retrieve easily (speedily).

In prison management system we keep track

of the information regarding the prisoners,
as well as visitors, who are coming to visit
prisoner, after that all the information will be
stored in a database at the back end.
<Write 15-20 lines describing, in detail about your functionalities of the project?>

In our project Prisoner is the only entity with

the attributes categorized as:

Personal Information
Criminal Record
Duration
Complete information of Visitors.

We will also develop a front end to access

this stored information.
When prisoner being caught by police then
we will store information about prisoner and
as well as police man who caught him/her.
After that we gather all the information
about prisoner what is his name, blood
group, age, height, skin color, weight, crime,
crime location and assign a unique id to
prisoner so we will easily recognize him
through data base. Additional features of
inserting, searching, deleting and editing. We

will assign a days for visitor so that prisoner

can meet him/her on that day and time.

Police department easily maintain their data

of prisoners. Also this application will be help
police officers to update record without any
checking bundle of pages. In old days when
we update delete or enter new record first
they check bundle of pages, if there is
already record then we update it but there is
most of the time wasted so, first advantage
is we save police time. Second advantage is
retrieve record in no time. Third advantage is
to store record in an efficient way with no
time. Also previous technique is provided no
security but this technique data base is
provide high security and prevent data loos
and corrupt data.
