SLCC Guitar Club

Dear President Huftalin:
I speak for everyone at Guitar Builders of Salt Lake City when I say we greatly appreciate the
guitar engineering courses that are offered here at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC).
However in most recent discussions, many of the members have proposed the idea of starting a
Guitar Building Club at SLCC. The club would meet in the workshop about two times a week,
allowing students to utilize the machinery and freely work on guitar projects. While the free
range use of tools would be greatly beneficial, club members would be simultaneously bettering
their knowledge on techniques and topics just briefly discussed in the course. Last but not least,
the club would be open to all students at SLCC and would collect a $15 dollar entry fee from
every member to cover the machine costs.
