Dear Mrs. Hochholter:
First and foremost, we appreciate your business and your loyalty to
our company. We continue to strive to maintain our excellent reputation
and most importantly, our quality customer service record. Our products
not only offer the most durability on the market, but our excellent
consumer report ratings and our Peace of Mind service plan agreement
back these up.
I understand your washer is not operating correctly and you have
met with one of our service technicians about this problem during an inhome service inspection. After looking over the report, the technicians
discovered that the machines motor was burnt out and the tub basket
supports were cracked. Our company requires our technicians to
document photographic evidence, which shows the following:

The electrical supply outlet to the machine was not

satisfactory, (failure to have the machine plugged into a
heavy duty 20amp electrical circuit; instead, machine was
plugged into a 15amp circuit causing overloading & heating in
the motor)
Damage also occurred due to water leakage (motor shortcircuiting) caused by the burst water supply hoses at the rear
faucet (customer is responsible for checking these hoses
periodically).
Evidence of washing heavy floor rugs in the machine that
overloaded the machines tub/basket supports.

Our washing machines require correct electrical installation and

there is no evidence showing your machine was installed by our
technicians. Upon the required correct install, following proper customer
usage is important. Given the reasons above, warranty replacement
offered by the Peace of Mind service plan is not available for damage
caused by operator usage and/or incorrect installation.
I have a few options to offer you. Although we cant replace your
machine at no cost because your 1-year warranty has expired, I can offer
to sell you a refurbished machine for $249 plus delivery and certified

Because you are a valued customer, I can offer you a 15% discount towards one
of our top of the line washing machines. These new machines offer improved features
including larger capacity, more efficiency, and easily replaceable circuit boards. The
larger tub calls for less loads needed and less time spent doing laundry. Our company
