Please accept the attached resume as an application for one of the new graduate nurse
positions. I recently graduated from Miami Dade College Associates of Nursing Program.
In addition to my 6-week practicum experience in the Intensive Care Unit, I worked for a
year and a half as an Emergency Medical Technician in the Emergency Department. In
my studies and clinical experience I have mastered areas such as safe medication
administration, health assessment, and culturally competent care. I have been lucky
enough to have exceptional registered nurse mentors who have prepared me clinically
and professionally for my first position as a registered nurse following my graduation.
I am organized, efficient with a strong sense of time management, and able to prioritize
tasks accordingly. My interpersonal skills are excellent and I am a team player. I would
appreciate an opportunity to interview for one of the available positions as a new
graduate nurse.
