CAREER GOAL(S) (these can be big-picture like become a human rights attorney for the Hague, or they can
be smaller scale, get into biology masters program at UIC or obtain marketing internship this summer)
I would like to participate in research labs at Loyola starting next semester and over the summer. I would also
like to start some volunteer work that could possibly correlate with my field of interest in psychology. I plan on
graduating from Loyola in 2018 with a double major in Psychology and Spanish. Afterwards, I hope to go onto
graduate school and receive a PhD in Psychology to become a cognitive psychologist.

I am interested in these career goals because psychology has always been fascinating to me and I enjoy
helping others. I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge so going to graduate school and participating in
research labs is something that I am looking forward to doing. I am interested in receiving a degree in Spanish
because I believe that being fluent in more than one language is extremely beneficial, especially in areas of
study such as psychology, where all people are impacted, regardless of their language or ethnicity.
