Re introducing the vocabulary

Warm up:
Revise the preposition
words and the unit
vocabulary using flash
cards. Show a video
about the preposition.

Key vocabulary:
On the playground vocabulary:
slide, sandbox, skipping rope,
tire swing, swing, seesaw,
bench, tree.

Prepositions: in, on, in front of.

Introduction activity:
- Each group will have to match the pictures
to their words, they will have the pictures of
the unit vocabulary.
- Show the preposition video and ask the
students to say the words with the video.

Give each student a work sheet which is

about read and draw.
Students will have to read the sentence
and then draw.

Assessment:
Assessing students reading skills, this activity
will help me to see if the students understand
the words that they are reading.
Plenary:
Introduce the story to the children by reading it to the class.
Home work: reading the story on the pupils book page 17 and 18.

Week 3 lesson 3

Reflection
Students were more engaged today and I believe it was because of the video
that I have shown in the beginning of the lesson. The activity allowed me to
assess students reading skills and students understanding/abilities. When I
integrate activities in my lessons it is usually a group activity which could be
critical when a teacher is trying to identify students learning abilities and
students levels.
