Meeting your students

needs as people and as
learners

If applicable, how does this lesson connect to the interests and cultural
backgrounds of your students?
I will ask students if they ever experienced anything like the tribes have. I will ask if they
have any similarities that they see with the tribes.

Differentiationbased on
the needs of your students
how will you take
individual and group
learning differences into
account.

I will make sure Timmy is always writing information down and not getting too distracted.

when planning this lesson

Having students annotate and being able to fill out graphic organizers will insure me that
they understand the information that was given out.
