Date: July 27th, 2015 Course: EDUC 230 Brief Description: These assignments for Exceptional Child are to express my knowledge on children with disabilities. The beginning reflection is before I take the course and the end reflection is after I take the course. I give my opinion on how special needs should treated in the school system. Rationale: To document my understanding of InTASC Standard 6, Assessment, I had to reveal what my knowledge was before and after the course. This type of assignment showed the difference on what I thought I knew and what I learned about a subject. It is a great way to monitor what a student learns and engage learners in their own growth. Reflections are great assessments because it involves writing, critical thinking, and creativity from the student and can guide teachers into the right path of teaching.
