Research Project Completion Form

TOPIC: what is the most important trait about someone?
______________________________________________
1. What was your hypothesis?I think that when I send out my survey most people will
think the best trait is someone's personality.
2. What method of research design did you choose and why?questionnaire/survey
because it shows many people's opinions and gives me a lot of data.

3. How did you define the ambiguous (unclear) aspects of your topic? by important i
mean important enough to be in a relationship with that person.

4. What variables do you expect to impact your project? I expect many different answers
from different people and when i collect all my data I can see which choice had the most
percentage

5. How do you plan on addressing those variables? sending my survey out on social
media

6. Data Collection:
How did you collect your data? sent out a survey

Who did your project target? All races, all ages, and both genders

Did it matter who you targeted? Why or why not? no because i needed everyone's opinion
i can get so I have more data

7. Data Analysis:
How did you analyze your data? I was looking for the choice with the largest number
What were you looking for? (mean, mode, frequency, correlation, etc.)
mode
What were your results? Personality got the most

Did your results prove or disprove your hypothesis? How do you know? It proved it
because I thought that most people would say personality and 58% of people did.

6. Reflection:
What was the most difficult thing about this project?
thinking of a topic

If you could ask a different question or questions to improve your results what would it
be?
do people who eat breakfast in the morning get better grades than people who dont

Is your view of the topic different now? Why or why not? no my hypothesis was right

If you could do the entire project over again, what would you do differently?

give more options as answers to my question and ask why people chose the answer they
did
7. Documents:
Please attach a copy of your survey, interview questions, and explanation of your
observation or experiment. (whatever you did to collect your data)
Please attach a copy of the pieces of literature you found that related to your topic of
study (shoot for at least 3)
