Key Accomplishments

Graduating Practical Nursing students received 95-100% pass-rate on provincial


registration examinations while program experienced an enrolment increase of
approximately 25% over 2 years
Initiated successful pilot program PN Pathway for PSW Students, now regular
program

Initiated Perioperative Hybrid program for RN and RPN students, with offcampus delivery throughout Ontario
Created student recognition and outreach events, i.e. pinning ceremony and
community building events
Led PN program review to ensure it meets new CNO Entry-to-Practice
Competencies and provincial standards
Interprofessional Education (IPE) Lead representing Centennial College in
Provincial and International IPE conferences. Support IPE initiatives within
School of Community and Health Studies and facilitated IPE Directional Plan
Member of internal committees: Advisory Committee, Student Case Management

a 14% increase in pass rate on provincial registration examination
