COTAS / VESTAS CT273 VRCC PROCESSOR REPAIR SOLUTION

We have developed a test solution to Vestas V47 VRCC Control System. Besides upgrading
the unit for deteriorating parts like bearings and connectors, we have also developed
testbed for each individual part of the processor to assure highest quality of repair.

Below is the three basic parts of the processor, the VRCC head, CPU board and Power Supply board

100% connector replacement

Our pc based VRCC Head testbed test the optical serial communication up to 115kbaud, 5 times the
normal transmission rate and check the rotary transformer system for efficiency and power handling.

Our VRCC power supply checker checks the voltages generated as well as the ripple on maximum load

Our CPU checker checks the data communication, PWM generation, voltage sensors, temperature sensor,
and current sensor. Check also the software version and systate like cpu temperature, voltages and
checksum.

Our portable CT273 tester checks the whole operation of the unit without connecting the power module.
You can adjust the PWM manual or set it to auto for overnight burn in testing. You can simulate an error
making sure that all the sensors are working properly.

And finally connect the VRCC processor with the power module to check both unit with real power
switching up to 50% IMEAS as seen on the display of the tester.
