This Thank you letter to members was written

in the voice of Andrew Davis, Vice President and
General Manager of Medicas Medicare segment.

For the 2016 Medica Member Calendar, I acted as

the main contact collaborating with coworkers, Infinity
Direct and Loffler to complete this project. The images
were submitted by Medicas Medicare members.
Winners were chosen by Medica employees through a
survey created with SurveyMonkey. The photo contest
winners were then announced in the Focus on Health
newsletter. Several rounds of editing, multiple internal
and external meetings, phone calls, emails and a
thorough understanding of Medicas relationship with
their members was required to complete this project.

Multiple copywriting and editing projects have strengthened my attention to

detail, while giving me experience working with external advertising agencies.

Lake State Kombucha was founded by Drake

Ellingboe, a University of Minnesota graduate
looking for a healthy alternative to energy drinks.
Lake State Kombucha is proudly crafted and
bottled in Minneapolis and is sold throughout
local restaurants, natural grocers, nutrition stores
and seasonally at farmers markets.
My work with Lake State Kombucha began as a
college journalism assignment and transformed
into a paid position with the company.

Magazine
EQUESTRIAN is a fictional magazine that I created in the University of
Minnesotas Media Design class. This class taught valuable skills with Adobe
Creative Suite. The personality of this magazine is fun and entertaining for those
interested in learning more about the horse world. The tone of the magazine is
meant to be light, relaxed and fun, to keep the reader entertained and interested.
