INTRODUCTION.
The program entitled
proposed by members
under Faculty of
Education, MARA University of Technology, Section 17, Shah Alam, Selangor. The head
of this program is Nurul Huda Binti Che Hamzah and been assists by Ili Salwa Nabila
Binti Abd Wahab and Atif Binti Khidzri and also been observed by the help of lecturers.
This program focuses on the Muslims students who are targeted to join this program
based on our analysis. The targeted candidates to join this program are 50 students.
These purposes of the program are; to make sure our students have the proper way
to pray Salah according to the right Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW and to give
knowledge to the student about the theory and practical of slaughter based on Islam law.
Throughout this program, two modules have been used. Every module has their own
objective and highlight on the spiritual content for candidate. The module consists of
theoretical part and practical part. These modules also had been discussed and planned by
the members of SEEDS.
The ending outcomes of this program is want to make sure the candidate can
develop the values of responsibility to be better Muslim and caliph. The date for run up
this program has been selected from 9th April until 10th April 2016 at Faculty of
Education, Section 17, Shah Alam Selangor. Besides, the date and venue of this program
were decided based on availability and accessibility of the candidates. The facilities given
by the UITM were considered to be appropriate enough to conduct this Islamic program.
2.0
RATIONALE.
The programme Ibadahku Agamaku is one of the programs which is involving
the Muslims students which is targeted about 50 education students, including male and
female students. These modules involve the elements of fardhu kifayah and fardhu ain in
Islamic context. As we know, we already learned about right Salah and animal slaughter
during primary and secondary school, but it is something that we need to remember that
1
the possibility of a few of students cannot remember it is higher when they are at higher
education. Besides, some of them maybe do not know at all how to pray and slaughter the
animals in Islamic way.
Therefore based on that, we as a unit of society, feels that is our responsibility to
come up with this program. This is because Salah is one of the individual responsibility
as Muslim before fulfil the others responsibility in pillars of Islam. We also hope our
participant will able to balance between dunya and akhirah. However, for the activities
session, The Night Prayer is the Sunnah prayer, so that is why we categorise it as our
activity. It is also can practice our participant to be a good generation of leaders.
Other than that, for the slaughter of quail session, our intention is want to expose
the techniques and methods of slaughter. As we know that we learn this knowledge
during secondary education which only covers the theory concept and not focusing to
practical. So, from this program we not only talk about theoretical method but it is also
practical method. Besides, we also want to create a spirit of cooperation and tolerance
among the faculty community. Last but not least, we hope that this two days program, our
students can perform all acts and the right recitation in prayers correctly and fluently and
able to apply the practical way in slaughter the halal animals.

THE CURRICULUM.
3.1
Needs Analysis.
Before we run this program, we decide to do an analysis according to find the
relevant of the program to run in this faculty. Besides, we do the analysis because to find
the best candidate that we are targeted to achieve our objective. However, our targeted
student is only 50 Muslim students. So base on that, we decide to use two type of method
to be as a method of need analysis. The method are; observation method and
questionnaire method.
2
3.1.1
lecturer of faculty of education about the misbehavior or attitude problem among student
in faculty of education. Second, we observe about the misbehavior or attitude problem
among student, student discipline toward the appearance for example their attire and
physical appearances and also lack of participant to join religious programs that have
been conducted.
Therefore base on our observation, we decided to select student from part 1 until
part 3 to join us base on their misbehavior and attitude problem as well as lack of student
from part 1 until part 3 to join religious programs. We know about the lack of student
from part 1 until part 3 to join religious programs based on the data from the previous
Islamic program. Thus, to catch the best candidate as well as to get the 50 participant
from part 1 until part 3, we continue the method with questionnaire method.
Questionnaire method:
Thus, for the questionnaire method, we give a questionnaire about right Salah and
recitation in Salah as well as questionnaire about animal slaughter to all student part 1
until 3. The sample of questionnaire we have attached it in appendix 1. The purpose of
questionnaire is we want to know the general knowledge about the right Salah and animal
slaughter among student. So base on that, we can analyses that student in which part is
lack of knowledge about the right Salah and animal slaughter for example student in part
2 is lack of knowledge about that, so we decided to pick them as our target participant.
Besides, as we know our faculty has a small size of student in each part, so it will make
us easy to pick 50 students among them as a participant of our program.

Methodology.
There are two types of methods that being applied in this program to make sure
we achieve our objective of this program. The method are; teacher -centered and student
-centered. For the module 1 Boost Your Salah theory part and Module 2 Slaughter in
Islam theory part, we use as a teacher-centered. During teacher-centered education,
speakers can put all of their focus to them. The speakers talks, while the students
exclusively listen. This is crucial as a way to understand clearly what the important point
is during teaching and learning session. Furthermore, speakers decide the goals based on
the learning outcome that will gain through this module. Then, we conducted question
11
and answer session which involving two ways learning communication between teachers
and students. This activity is essential as to solve any misunderstanding or concerns
regarding this module. For practical session in module 1 and 2, we run student-center
instruction. The students and instructors share the same focus. Instead of listening to the
teacher exclusively, both of them interact equally. For examples, during practical session
of slaughter, group work is carrying out which students learn to collaborate and
communicate with each other during handling this process. This learning activities
attracted more students to be involved where they can interact with one another members
and participate actively. Most importantly, they can apply their skills in a daily life.
3.8
Evaluation.
As an evaluation part, we use an evaluation form to evaluate the program. An
evaluation form will be distributed to all students at the end of the program. Student has
to answer it according to what they feel throughout the program. From the form it can be
seen whether the program has succeed in reaching its objectives of changing the students
to be a better person.
It can also be seen that whether the program is suitable to overcome the problem
or not. If it is, the same program can be held in the future. We can see the flaw of the
program from student opinion, and fix it for the next program.

CONCLUSION
This program is meant to meet its objective, which is change the students
perception toward religious program and also give them the opportunity to learned new
15
knowledge and skills. Then hopefully, it could improve their understanding towards Islam
and becoming a better person.
If the objectives can be achieved, it means that the program is a success. The flaw
of the program, if there is, will be fixed and the upgrade version of the program can be
held in the future for the same purpose. It can also be a guide to a different program that
having the objective that are almost the same as this program.
The students are still young. They are all the young Muslims, and it would be a
shame if their youth is wasted just like that. The student should treasure their youth with
all wonderful, meaningful and beneficial knowledge that they can have and learned
especially in Islam. Some of the young Muslims have not realized the importance of this
kind of program and it would be too late for them to regret that they do not join it earlier.
It is our responsibilities as the committee member of science society to help them to be
aware of it. This new generation is the face of our Islam in the future. We want them to
have all the knowledge they can get in order to be the example to the next generation.
