RE: ACCESS TO HISTORIC ANCESTRAL LANDS
‘Aquene Madam Governor;
We, the undersigned hereby give Notice of a fiduciary and legal interest in the properties described as
SEAT OF THE MASSASOIT and MASHAPAUG POND, which are subject to and protected under
Federal Jus Cogen claims under CIL; and
We, the undersigned herein submit private administrative process and are seeking remedy, proof of
claim and full disclosure as to claims of ownership, proof of authority and proof of land title of the
Seat of the Massasoit, Mashapaug Pond, and full disclosure as to authority over the sovereign
Pokanoket Nation People, sovereign Mashapaug Nahaganset People, their lands and interests.The purpose of this communication is to establish a formal meeting with your office. The meeting
will initiate clarity as to the interests and position of the state of Rhode Island concerning the current
‘existence of the Pokanoket and Mashapaug Nahaganset People of the territory called “Rhode Island”;
‘we wish to understand your position concerning specific claims by the Pokanoket and Mashapaug
‘Nahaganset, past and current.
In December of 2014, we engaged communications with members of the U.S. Congress and Senate
along with the Department of Commerce concerning fraud and other claims of the Pokanoket and
Mashapaug Nahaganset.
In April 2015, a delegation, including the Pokanoket and Mashapaug Nahaganset from Rhode Island,
attended the 14" Session of The United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFI) in
New York. While there, the delegation had numerous discussions concerning repatriation and
reclamation of aboriginal / indigenous rights and lands.
‘The People of the Pokanoket Nation and Mashapaug Nahaganset, in the spirit of peace, harmony and
balance believe the time has come for discourse with your office as a precursor towards resolving
certain very important issues. Through collective participation, a timely meeting to gain a clear
understanding could possibly relieve the state of Rhode Island of potential legal and commercial
liabilities.
‘These interests arise from past access limitations and restrictions placed on the Pokanoket and
‘Mashapaug Nahaganset in visiting the locations listed herein; such restrictions limit our Peoples”
ability to uninhibited expression spiritually and culturally on natural ancestral Pokanoket and
‘Mashapaug Nahaganset lands, which are sustaining ecological destruction via the commercial
activities of Rhode Island.
People of the Pokanoket and Mashapaug Nahaganset, and many sister and brother nations of the
region are people who have never sold, traded, or otherwise lawfully surrendered their lands, This
correspondence has been sent via Certified Mail # 7015 1520 0001 4556 8868.
Respectfully thanking you in advance for your time looking into these matters,
