Ask students if they have any ideas on goods and
services in India?
Introduction
Time
Today we are going to split into groups and put a
2-5 min
play on.
Ask the class if they have got anything from India?
Students will need to cooperate and participate in
their skits. Giving everyone a part in the skit and
working hard to ensure everyone knows their own
lines

Skits
Students will be split into five groups (4 students per
group) and act out different goods and services in
India. Each group will receive a skit sheet with
background information, what props they will need
and the skit. Along with the skit sheet is individual
script for each character. Students will have 18
minutes to practice the play the 2 minute each to
perform for a total of ten minutes.
Observe that students are all participating in the
plays and are prepared to perform for the class. Note
that the students do not need to memorize the lines
for the play.
