This video was an introduction to the course blackboard site organization. Heather
does a good job of discussing each of the tabs and content within the folders. Her
explanations are accurate and concise.

Based on this presentation, what do you consider to be this instructors strengths?


Organization! Heather was very organized and did a good job explaining the course
structure. As another online instructor, I plan to create a similar video for my online
course.

Based on this presentation, what do you consider to be this instructors


weaknesses?
Honestly, its hard to tell. Perhaps it would have been good to include a video of
yourself as you provided the overview of the course so that the students might feel
more connected to you and the course. I know my students have a harder time
connecting with me in my totally online course.

Describe the students response to the instructor.


None, as this was a taped introduction without students. However, I anticipate that
Heathers students will appreciate the video introduction and overview of the
blackboard site. I would be interested to know if her students actually review the
syllabus though (as many of mine do not even after multiple prompts and prods).

Describe the instructors mannerisms (positive and negative) when presenting


information.
Heather spoke clearly and demonstrated flexibility when she made a mistake.
Heathers voice was somewhat monotone (as I also tend to be in my videos or in
person).

Great introduction and overview Heather. Thank you so much for pairing up with me
late in the course and voluntarily so that I could complete this requirement for the
adjunct certification.
