Good Day,
During then PLANNING COMMISSION meeting held on APRIL 17, 2014, a motion was made, seconded, and
carried to recommend approval of the current Zoning and SALDO proposals for the four (4) participating
townships with the stipulation that areas of concern for Eldred Township will be revisited should Polk
Township join the Regional Group.
Polk has decided to join the Regional Group. Discussion at the CJERP meetings will include the re-distribution
of the current Regional Uses as well as additional Uses that may be added to the current list of Regional Uses.
Attached is a list of Uses that can be considered for exclusion from Eldred Township there may be more. I
encourage you to review the USES as offered in the approved Zoning Ordinance and offer your suggestions. In
addition, this review process should be detailed as an Eldred Township Update and sent to our email
subscribers. I am not certain if a Public Posting is required or recommended.
NOTE - Although a member of the Eldred Planning Commission, this information has not been review by The
Commission and is not The Commissions recommendation. This topic will be made part of The
Commissions next meeting and a recommendation may be forthcoming.
