Dear Parents/Carers,
Fundraising Thanks
Thank you for your support with our fundraising efforts! With your help, we raised 168.52 for
Children in Need and nearly 200 for the Young Minds charity via Year Sixs cake sale. Mr Gorst
informs me that we received 30 full-to-the-brim shoeboxes for Samaritan Purses Operation
Christmas Child. Good teamwork everyone!
Christmas Parties
Early Years (Nursery and Reception) and Key Stage Two (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) Christmas parties
will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 15th December. Key Stage One (Years 1 and 2)
Christmas parties will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 16th December. Children are invited
to wear their party clothes to school that day. Donations of party food will be most welcome!
Performances
Years Four and Five will be performing some of the keyboard and percussion music that they
have been learning with Mrs Cannon this term on Friday 11th December at 9am.
Year Five violinists will perform the music that they have been learning this term at a performance
on Friday 11th December at 2:30pm.
Years One and Two will be performing The Nativity on Tuesday 15th December at 2pm.
Nursery will be performing The Nativity on Wednesday 16th December at 2:30pm.
Year Three will be having an afternoon of steel pans instruction from Mr Baugh on Wednesday
16th December. There will be an impromptu performance for parents at 2:30pm that day.
School Lunches
A polite reminder from Doreen, our school cook, to book your school lunches please! Lots of
children arent able to have their preferred choice of lunch as they havent booked in advance.
